Wild Blue Yonder
So this has been our first apartment which we will be leaving sometime in August and anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE our apartment. When we signed the contract it looked like there had been 3 different unfinished paint jobs and the wood floors were in need of some love...but we saw the potential and somehow amid all the wedding craziness (with a LOT of help from Ben's brother and my little sister) we got all the holes filled in and pretty much the WHOLE place painted. Then after we got back from the Honeymoon we set about designing...my favorite part! Ben pretty much designed the kitchen and I took over the rest of the place. I'm excited to design our next place but this has been quite a first apartment and definitely a place we were able to call home. The story of the blue paint is thus: when I was growing up, my Mom ONLY painted white walls. I decided to go big or go home and we've been very happy. It's a very happy blue.

Natasha and Thomas
Can I tell you how excited I was to do a square invite? Very. I'm very conscientious about wedding costs (I've had the pleasure of planning and helping to pay for a wedding...) so I try to work with each bride to get the best design options within her budget. The thing that stops most people from ordering square invites is the added postage (since they have to be hand sorted), but since Natasha wasn't printing as many invites, she was open to the idea and very happy with the outcome. Congrats to Natasha and Thomas!

We will become silhouettes...
So I've been into silhouettes...mine is still in the works, but I was so happy with how Ben's came out that I just couldn't wait to share. This is part of a whole home decorating idea I'm working on...will post pictures when complete.
